I was planning to post something about
Project Mohole, mostly because I started babbling about it after eating too much cereal and staring at a lava lamp, but today, it turns out that the whole thing was unnecessary, because they just found a
gaping hole in the the earth's crust! And yes, that headline should read "Welsh Scientists in Journey to Earth's
Mantle." Of course, I prefer to think of the Earth as being composed of
Crust and Filling.
